Wow…. what a year it has been for Brown Jack, where do we begin… Firstly, with thanks, to the Swindon and District League and all the clubs who make our sport what it is, the support, camaraderie and of course competition is what it is all about and we are so lucky to have that in such vast quantities in our league. The Swindon Open Shoot with Brown Jack on Sunday the 27th of April.
The Brown Jack are hosting this years Swindon Open Shoot event on Sunday the 27th of April, at Supermarine Rugby Club, Swindon. This will bring together clubs from the South West, Wales and the Midlands where shooters can showcase their talent and aim for a top spot finish in their categories. The question on everyones mind is, who will be taking away the main trophy (and braging rights) this year? It’s all to play for! Foster Carers fun shoot with Brown Jack ARC, at Supermarine Sports club.
We were approached recently by Swindon Borough Council and asked if we could hold an evening of shooting for our Swindon Foster Carers. Absolutely, and what an evening it was!! Everyone shot brilliantly, mostly in the target, and so not many holes in the walls! We had lots of laughs and banter and even a medal at the end for the ‘Best Shot’! These guys do a fantastic job, guiding, supporting and giving structure to the children and young people they foster. It makes an immense difference and it’s truly rewarding. It was a pleasure coaching everyone and we hope we see them again, hopefully at practice!

Start of 2024-2025 League Season – Catch Up.
We are now coming to the end of week 4 in our league season and the time has flown by in a flurry of excitement, results, camaraderie and of course competition! Let’s have a look at where we stand currently…. Brown Jack A The A Team have had a fantastic start to the league season winning all 3 of their matches in the 12’s, 10’s and 6’s, an excellent achievement. Derek Gale Under 18’S Results
Tonight saw the Derek Gale under 18 cup hosted by our friends over at Swindon Gas, And what a result it was, shot over two cards the winner was our very own Maxx Hamilton taking first place by 1 point to his very good friend and Brown Jack brother Finley Hale and a great effort from our Tommy Taylor with his new Pb card and a cracking 87 So results are as follows:-

T Norris 3rd Round – Final
10/4/24 – Tonight see’s the final rounds of the T Norris coming to a conclusion with our very own Grace Petty Vs Ian Hale and Ellie Dodson Vs her own father Andy Dodson, in Training all four have been hitting impressive scores so lets se if they can handle the pressure when they step up to the firing line against each other.
